Synopsis

In a future society that had previously been plagued by wars and conflicts, conflicts are avoided by producing humans artificially in different levels of intelligence and artificially conditioned to fit into society. "Father" and "mother" have become swear words to be avoided. Sex is purely for pleasure, not for procreation. Promiscuity is a social obligation. When Bernard/Peter Gallagher takes his girlfriend on a helicopter tour of the reservation, populated by savages made the old fashion way, he brings a savage and his mom back to civilization with tremendous consequences.
